Managing Wallet Users
Under the Wallet Members tab of the wallet page, you will be able to view members of that wallet. If you want to manage or add new members, follow the link to the Admin Console. Each wallet may have many users with various levels of access. A user of a wallet can be either an owner or user of the enterprise that that wallet is in.
> If your enterprise has View all wallets turned on, any user added to the enterprise will have a viewer role for all wallets. Therefore, when adding a new user to a wallet, you will only see the Spender or Admin options.
> Transactions that violate wallet policies must be approved by a wallet admin, but admins cannot approve their own transactions if there is more than one admin on the wallet.
Inviting Members to a Wallet
Under the Members tab of the Admin Console, you will be able to invite users to a wallet. To invite a new user, you must be an admin of the wallet, and the user must already have a BitGo account. Click Invite Members and enter the email address of the member you wish to invite.
> Only ONE update can be made to a role at a time. This update must be approved before other updates can be made to the same role. For example, if you want to add members, remove members and update permissions, you will only be able to do one after the other.
Note:
Members must already exist to be added to a role in the Roles tab. If they are not in the Organization yet, they can be added from the Members tab.
Custom roles can be deleted from the Roles tab by going into the Role and clicking Delete Role. This will remove the associated access from all users with that role.
Every member must have at least one role to remain in an Organization.
The user will receive an email to accept your invitation. After accepting, they will be asked to provide their BitGo login password and enter their 2FA.
> This process sets a wallet password for the invited user using their login password.
For additional security, users should then change their wallet password. Such changes will not affect any other user’s wallet password.
Removing Users from a Wallet
Under the User tab of the wallet view, you will be able to remove users from a wallet. To remove a user, you must be an admin of the wallet, and if there is more than one admin on the wallet, then the removal will have to be approved by another admin.
