Understanding Your BitGo-Enforced Policy Rules

Every enterprise has three policies that are managed by BitGo’s Trust team. Note: Enterprise accounts in certain countries, like Korea and Singapore, may be subject to different requirements. For more detail, see Managing Policies > BitGo-Enforced Policies.

  • BitGo Video ID: Requires a live video ID verification with BitGo’s Trust team on every withdrawal that exceeds $250k per day (cumulative)

    • If you want to customize this policy:

      • Modify the Velocity Limit to require video ID verification for any designated value

      • Opt Out of Video IDs by archiving the policy

  • BitGo Unverified Address: Requires liveness verification from transaction initiator when withdrawal of funds to an unknown address is initiated for the first time. Verification can be performed by either the transaction initiator or a designated wallet admin, depending on the policy Action.

    • Unverified Address: An address on your whitelist that you have not yet sent funds to. The first withdrawal to this address requires an additional security check

  • BitGo Fiat Liveness Check for Withdrawals: Requires liveness verification from wallet admin on USD withdrawal exceeds $100k+ per day

    • You can customize this value to anything between $0 and $1m
